Restaurant #15 Kabuto
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, i've been super busy. Last night for my best friends birthday party, we went to Kabutos. This place is awesome. They cook the food in front of your face on the hibachi. The chefs there always make sure your having a good time. So every entree comes with Clear Soup, Salad, Shrimp Appetizer, Fried Rice, Noodles and then something off the entree menu. The Clear Soup is really good. Its not to salty, but still flavorful. The salad is just an ordinary salad, but the ginger dressing is really yummy. The Shrimp Appetizer is to die for. It has to be the best shrimp i've had in a long time. They serve it with a side of this sauce which I don't know what it is, but it's really good. The they cook the noodles, which are good. The Fried Rice, is outstanding, I LOVED it. (You also get veggies). For the main meal, I got Hibachi Steak. It was cooked beautifully and was so juicy. I recommend going here for any birthday, or special occasion. Thanks guys! Ciao!

Restaurant #13 Ruth Chris Steak House.
Hey guys! Last night my parents and I went to Ruth Chris. It's a tradition we go there every year as my birthday dinner. I LOVE that place. So I started off with the Wedge Salad, which I share with my dad. Its just a wedge salad with bacon, blue cheese, and your choice of dressing. I love it! I always order extra bacon :). Next I get the Petite Filet. The steaks at Ruth's Chris come sizzling hot with butter, on a 500 degree plate.Be careful!!!! It's alway so good and perfect. If you don't like it, send it back for a brand new one. The customer service is amazing. My mom go the Veggie Platter, where you pick 3 veggies or potatoes. She liked it too. My dad got the normal filet. Since it was my birthday dinner they gave me a sample platter for dessert! They said they do it for birthdays. It has Key lime pie, Chocolate Sin cake and Cheesecake. (The cheesecake was my favorite!!!) The price is really expensive. The ambiance is great to! Really relaxing!! Thanks guys! Ciao!

Restaurant #12 Jojo's
Hey guys! Last night me and a friend went to a great place we know called Jojo's China Bistro. Its located in the Stoncreast shopping center in Matthews, NC. We go there all the time. So my friend has to- and i mean HAS to start off with the Seafood Hot and Sour soup. I personally don't like it. But my friend loves it. I tried some for the blog, its really spicy, ( thats why it has a red chili next to it), sour and seafoody. Not my favorite. My favorite entree is Beef With Broccoli. I have to get that every time. I don't even have to look at the menu! It's beef and broccoli cooked together in an amazing brown sauce. I LOVE it and order it every time. My moms dish, she got Curry Veggies. She loves curry and she enjoyed it. The ambiance is great, and not to cheesy with the decorations. The servers are really nice all the time! I heard for your birthday, they give you a free chocolate moose, too. Well, thats it for now! Thanks guys! Ciao!

Restaurant #11 Penguin
Hey guys! So on Sunday me and my parents went to the Penguin. I think its on north trion? Go to google maps and type in the Penguin, Charlotte NC. Anyway this place has been here for so long. Guy Fieri went there for his show Diners, Drive ins and Dives. This place isn't in the best area, but oh well. There is one thing you HAVE to- and I mean HAVE to have the Fried Pickles. I cant even explain how good they are! Salty, crunchy goodness. They are served with a dipping sauce, ranch dressing, but with garlic or something!! I had the Small Block Burger which was really good. My mom had the Felafel, and my dad had the Patty Melt. We love that place! But its always so crowded! Its worth it though. Its so inexpensive! Thanks guys! Ciao!

Hey guys! So this is going to be a really short one. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, we haven't gone out to dinner lately. So lately I've been going to Poppyseed bagel. They have THE best bagels, croissants, sandwiches, anything you think of, they'll have it! My absolute #1 favorite thing there is the Chocolate Croissants. Its basically a croissant, stuffed with chocolate, drizzled with chocolate sauce on top. I have to get one everyday! The owners are SO nice and know us by name. The bagels are super too. I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, and it is really good. All I can say about directions, is it is in the center with Harris Teeter, Great Clips, My Bella Spa, and behind Brookhaven, the neighborhood. You HAVE to go there :) They are all so friendly :) Thanks guys! Ciao!

Hey guys! So last night Me and my family went to George Brasserie. It is located by the southpark mall. This is one of my favorite restaurants. So you walk in and the ambience is spectacular. They have paintings and pictures of France. They have a lounge area and a great raw bar. The music is at a comfortable level. So I started off with the Fava Bean and corn risotto. I get it every time im there. It has great flavor and isn't dry at all. I love the pieces of sweet corn mixed in. I tried my dads beet salad, and loved the red beets, but didn't like the yellow. The yellow were to sweet for me. As my entree I had my very first Beef Bourginguon. (How ever you spell it.) and it was amazing. I couldn't believe how good it was. I recommend that to any beef eater! I ordered it on behalf of Julia Child, because yesterday, August 13th was her birthday :). The dark chocolate mousse is really good too. The server was outstanding also. She always makes conversation, and treats people really nice. If you ever go to George Brasserie, Make reservations and ASK FOR STEPHANIE! Restaurant #2, City Tavern
Hey guys! So tonight Im back in Charlotte NC, So I went to City tavern In Stonecrest. Anyway we started off with artichoke and spinach dip, It was good, but not t die for. It was a little dry.... I give it a 3! I had the soup of the day which had crab, bacon and veggies. My comments? Don't get it. Thats just my humble opinion. The crab I didn't feel was cleaned and it was almost gritty some bites. At the highest? a 2 and 1/2. I have to say it did have flavor though. We had good bread, and it was foccacia. They messed up my moms entree, she ordered the greek salad with salmon, and she got a cob salad. But when she got the greek salad she LOVED it. I had a bacon blue cheese wedge which was really good. We both loved our salads, both 5's!!!! The server was nice, but had a couple flaws. She never told us the specials and I had to ASK what the soup if the day was. She also made the soup sound gross ( but she wasn't to wrong!! lol). The ambience was awesome, Nice bar, nice booths and good music choices. So thats it! See you next time, thanks!!! Ciao!

Restaurant #1 Tidewater Grill.
Okay, so today me and my mom were in Charleston, WV. We decided to try out a place called Tidewater Grill, located next to the mall, I think in downtown. Any away, over all experience was 2 1/2 or 3. The ambience was a 5, very low key environment. The bread came to the table, totally over salted, in poppyseed covered rolls. I give that a 2. Next came the house salad. All it was was lettuce, 2 HUGE slices of tomato and side of dressing. It needed something...... I give it a 3. Okay! The entree came, I had fettuccine in a light cream sauce with chicken, roasted peppers, (still had membranes!!!! yuck!) mushrooms and herbs. It wasn't very flavorful. :'( My mom got Mahi Mahi with cucumber salsa, we called it a fish brick!! WAY over cooked, I could've cut it with a steak knife!!! Server was nice, 4. Service was slow though. Yummy cheesecake, YAY!!!! Thanks 4 reading!!! Ciao! PS WAY OVER PRICED.
